OK. First things first. You do NOT have to own a boat to be a member. Sure we'd love you to have one/own one/share one with the bank manager but that is not a pre-requisite requirement to be a member. No Sir! What we really want is members who want to enjoy good company, good food, like a drink or two and are happy to talk about boats. ANYTHING to do with boats actually!!

So, boat or no boat, the GHYC has something for you especially if you are:

	a non-sailor or new to the area and looking for a friendly, local social hub
	new to boating and want to learn the ropes
	a boatie in port for the summer
	looking for a crew position
	a launch or trailer boat owner
	a woman wanting to get into a woman’s sailing programme
	a cruising yachtie wanting to enjoy a frequent and social racing programme
	a serious yachtie looking for regular racing programmes

Ok things you need to know about the club and sailing:

Wednesdays	Regular Race Nights & Social Nights with the Bar and Leading Lights Restaurant open. Great food and very attractive prices!
Thursdays	Games night and Bar
Fridays	Regular Social Nights with the Bar and Leading Lights Restaurant open. Great food and very attractive prices!
Weekends	Regular Racing

Social membership – for non boat-owners:
Associate (single)	$55.00
Family Associate	$82.00

Full membership – for boat owners:
Senior (single)	$163.00
Family	$244.00
Junior (under 20)	$55.00
