Final race of Taylor & Co Series

Last night was Race 8 of the Taylor and Co Lawyers Ladies Twilight Series to finish off a great season.

Big thanks to Mike Lanigan as Race series Coordinator with Warren and Igor as support.

Prior to the start the wind was a little unsettled, with a debate for race Control, over whether the wind would settle in as westerly or southwesterly - Course 3 with Starboard Roundings was selected in the nick of time to set the fleet off towards the Yellow mark with a reaching start.

Share Delight was first to round the Mark with First Priority and Glory Days in hot pursuit and strategically preventing the First Priority girls from tacking upwind.

Mayflower and Platinum tacked off early, all trying to locate the orange mark as the top mark up a staircase of twinkling golden light on the water. Rounding the top mark was a swift gybe back to the Gulf Harbour mark with Share Delight hoisting their big blue and pulling away from Glory Days to lead the fleet home for line honours.

The club was full of energy, with the traditional dress up post final race, to celebrate another great season.
