    Taylor and Co Lawyers Ladies Twilight Series Race 7

    Race 7 of the Taylor and Co Lawyers Ladies Twilight Series with golden skies for the penultimate race of the series. A stable high pressure system gave a light warm wind from the North.     Barfoot and Thompson Series Race 2

    Race 2 of the Barfoot and Thompson GHYC- WBC combined Double-Handed Series set off this morning into light airs to the south. Taking into consideration a building SW breeze, Race Control set the fleet off with Course 5 to leave Rangitoto to Port, & additionally hoisted the diagonally stripy yellow and red Y -flag for crews to don their life-jackets.     Gulf Harbour Marina Series Race 8

    Race 8 of the Gulf Harbour Marina 2019-2020 Twilight Series.     Race 2 of the GHYC Gulf Series, The Gannet Rock Trophy, Course 3 was set by our Race Management; Start, McKenzie Buoy (P), Shearer Rock Buoy (P), Gulf Buoy (S) to Finish.     Saddle Island Keel Boat Race

    A favourable SW breeze gave the fleet a comfortable lay of the GH Buoy. The next leg was downwind to navy buoy, boats splitting either side of the lay line as they gull-winged towards the Tiri Channel. Following a reach up the Channel, a deep reach took them north of Wellington Rock, hardening up to make the yellow buoy north of Coal Mine bay before the final downwind leg to the finish at Sullivans Bay.

    Gulf Harbour Marina Race Series race 7

    Taylor & Co Ladies Twilight Race 5

    RO Mike Lanigan, supported by Igor and Warren out on Olympus selected Course 2 with a windward- leeward first leg and then a triangle.     Inter-club race

    Sunday 26 Jan 2020 Combined GHYC-MCC-WBC interclub race (MCC Control) 1300 start Starting between Pudding Island and start vessel Tranquility, in a light S/SE breeze, the 3 boats attempting to start on port tack were challenged by the rest of the 16 strong fleet bearing down on startboard. Some swift manouvering left Mayflower drifting past Tranquility as the rest of the boats headed for an anticlockwise sail around Motuora.
