The club was buzzing for our final social gathering of 2021. The club went the extra mile to ensure we could all get together and appreciate the wonderful food and music that was provided to create a fantastic night.

Traffic light red signals fully crewed boats can back out competing on the water again. And what a great start to the Gulf Series - a 27nm course was the perfect way to brush the cobwebs away!

Great to finally get the ladies series underway - and what a cracker of an evening it was. Stunning sunsets with six boats out competing on the water and then sharing stories back at the clubhouse. Perfect.

A cracking north easterly wind made for a fast passage up to Kawau. And although the singing sheets may have gotten damp - we still managed plenty of Christmas cheer with the two clubs congregating on Lidgard House - and we had Bon Accord to ourselves!

Getting all our member's boats competing on a level playing field is no mean feat - and our handicapper nailed it! Skippers were buzzing when 11 boats were racing down on the final leg of the course.

The first race of the Burnsco Summer Cruising Series got underway on Saturday under brilliant. With 14 boats competing on the course using the modified Mark Foy system, it was great to be out on the water once more.

Calling all budding sailing bubbles! On Saturday 6th November we're kicking off our Burnsco Summer Cruising Series. The race will be held under the approved COVID conditions - and will be run under the much loved & fun modified Mark Foy system.

A shortened Combined Winter Series - but nonetheless, a well run and attended series that provided plenty of fun and competition for all those 26 boats who entered. And thanks to the Sailing Committee for another well managed series!

A number of shifting winds and minor squalls required quick sail changes and kept those on the bow with plenty to do. With just two races to go in the series there's still plenty to play for!
