Friday Night Fun Races

Kick off your weekends on the water! We've got seven Friday night family friendly fun races spread across the season. The perfect chance to dip your toes into sailing or simply enjoy some friendly competition.

No GHYC or YNZ membership required, everyone's welcome.
Relaxed racing, just a main and headsails (no spinnakers or gennakers).
Simple triangle courses, length determined by the amount of wind.
Staggered start times, so no challenging start lines - smaller/slower boats starting first, with the aim of having all boats finishing around the same time.

First start time at 1700

Back to THE CLUB afterwards for day prizes, a well-earned meal & drink and lots of socialising

These aren't run as a series but as individual races, so just enter on an ad hoc basis or make a bulk purchase for all of them before Thursday 13 November.
