Winter Speaker Series 2025 » Dr. Chris Benton: Discovering Planets Beyond our Solar System

After a long and respected career as a General Practitioner on the Hibiscus Coast, Dr Chris Benton turned his curiosity skyward. Now holding a Master's Degree in Astronomy, Chris brings both scientific rigour and an engaging storytelling style to his talks. Drawing on his lifelong fascination with the cosmos, he offers accessible insights into the wonders of the universefrom the mysteries of black holes to the beauty of stargazing from our own backyard.

Club open from 5pm. Light meals available from 6pm. Speaker starts 7.30pm.
