Barfoot & Thompson Rum Race
Four Friday night fun races spread over the season.
These are the perfect way to dip your toes into racing and you don't need to be a club member to join in and give it a go.
All welcome.
Staggered start times so no heavily congested start lines, and just main and head sails allowed, (no spinnakers, gennakers etc)
Easy triangle courses, length determined by amount of wind.
Start times between 1700 -1730, generally smaller/ slower boats starting first, with the aim of having all boats finishing around the same time, then back to THE CLUB for socialising and prizes.
This is not a series, just individual races with all the information below in the Notice of Race or email admin@ghyc.co.nz if you have any questions.
