Here's some good news if you are looking for an excuse to take the boat out this week. Come and join the Winter Cruising Race.

Bring along your better half, some mates or take onboard some extra crew who are keen to learn.

The start is in a staggered pursuit format so all boats finish more or less at the same time. No extras though, but you can pole out your headsail if you are needing an extra bit of woosh (aka fun).

Afterwards make your way, happily wind blown, back to the club and, as it is the last race of the series, there will be day prizes, Series Results and Prizegiving
