Barfoot & Thompson Friday Rum Race.

Kick off the weekend on the water with some friendly competition in a pursuit style Rum Race!

• No GHYC or YNZ membership required , everyone's welcome.
• Relaxed racing, just a main and headsails (no spinnakers or gennakers).
• Simple triangle courses, length determined by the amount of wind.
• Staggered start times, so no challenging start lines - smaller/slower boats starting first, with the aim of having all boats finishing around the same time.

First boat start time at 1700.

Back to THE CLUB afterwards for day prizes, a well-earned meal & drink and lots of socialising.
