An Interrupted Voyage - 9/11 in New York with Mike Pignéguy

While I was skippering a superyacht from Boston to Miami we stopped over in New York where we berthed less than a mile from Lower Manhattan and the Twin Towers. From our berth I had an un-interrupted view of the tragic and history making events that took place on the morning of the 11th September 2001 when 2 civilian aircraft were flown into the Twin Towers causing their complete destruction.

On this 25 th Anniversary of 9/11 I shall be showing and talking about my experiences on that fateful day and what happened during the rest of the voyage when we were finally allowed to leave New York.

Time and place: At the Club at 6.45pm on Thursday 10th September.

The bar will be open with the usual light refreshments.
