Spectacular Day on the water for Race 5 of the Hibiscus Marine Coatings combined Weiti Boating Club & Gulf Harbour Yacht Club Winter 2020 Series

RO John Bruce, under tutelage of John & Linda on Toyshop, led the show withTed & Sarah whizzing around on Chase laying the marks. Our course had a decent upwind leg with Long Bay as our panorama for upwind views and Tiri Tiri Matangi heading downwind.

Flat waters & a 10-18 knot freshening breeze presented idyllic conditions for Boadicea to lead both fleets around the course. Some interesting kite action nearing the bottom mark made for good watching.Pretty mint day on the water. Thanks to Diane, Ali and Ian for a warm welcome back in the club rooms post racing.
